Quinta dos Prestes provides the perfect home and local in which to launch your dreamed Lisbon vacation. Nestled in the center of the city and only a mere three kilometers from the airport and the town's lively and colorful centre, this villa, inserted in a forest of 22000sqm, boasts not only seclusion but also proximity. A rare find in the picturesque and bustling city of Lisbon! The house is reached by ascending an alley from the street below and following a shady path through woodland to a wrought iron gate. Beyond is your invitation to a corner of paradise. A delightful villa with pool just in the heart of the city. Entrance into the house is either from the terrace or by the garage door that leads directly to a small office and then to the living room with a view over the garden and the pool. The home is surrounded by tall cypress and mature trees, lending it an air of seclusion and tranquility.
On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room, modern furnished with comfortable sofas, an open stone fireplace, armchairs, a bookcase, a painting from Cargaleiro and French windows out to the garden. The dining room is furnished with a dining table, that seats up to 10 persons. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove with 4 burners, open shelving, two sinks, refrigerator, a freezer, oven, a toaster and a blender. Just a step from the living area is a pleasant outdoor seating area with a dining table situated under carob trees.
The outside area of Quinta dos Prestes consists of an huge and impressive forest, an inviting pool, and a lovely garden filled with acorn and Mediterranean flora. One expansive terrace provides a perfect venue for dining al fresco or enjoying an afternoon aperitif.
Also in the ground floor are 3 of the 5 existing rooms. The spacious master bedroom with en suite bathroom decorated with Portuguese handmade tiles . The twin bedroom with a built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers and lots of natural light and the nicely appointed double bedroom. These two rooms share a complete bathroom with bath tub.
The wood staircase leads up to the first floor which offers a grand open area with two bedrooms. Both with double bed and one of them has a small balcony overlooking the garden.
Adjacent are two complete bathrooms with shower. For additional comfort the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
Private parking inside the garage is available for two cars with no extra charge. Other services provided for a fee include a local cook, food delivery, personal laundry service, babysitters, cot and high chair. The daily cleaning service price include is from Monday to Friday with a change of linen once a week. Additional cleaning is available upon request.
