The aim is to provide those who visit us with a stay in a luxury house, with hotel service, where the meals are prepared by a private chef and served by employees of the property. All this is overseen by a duly qualified supervisor so as to ensure the quality of the services at the house and of all the activities that take place outside the house that are included in the chosen program .

 

There is a long list of activities that can be performed at and outside the Herdade and more dynamic programs can be prepared, incorporating sports activities such as golf, horse-riding and ballooning, to mention just a few. Programs could also include cultural outings with visits to historical places, painting classes, or organized visits to the most prestigious wine cellars in the region with wine-tasting and lunches included.

 

You enter Herdade da Chaminé through a gate that leads into a large private courtyard. From the courtyard, you can enter into the main part of the house or the ground floor where are located 4 bedrooms and the entrance hall with the living room and dining room  on the right.
The enormous and amazing living room (100sqm), a complete entertainment center, features a wide screen TV, satellite, home theatre, playing cards table and CD/stereo. The impressive fireplace gives a cozy atmosphere during winter evenings. The French doors open this room to the main deck of the house, offering panoramic views of the surrounding country side. The dining room at Herdade da Chaminé is the most visited room in the house. Dining and socializing in this elegant yet casual atmosphere is highly enjoyed by every guest. The warm ambiance of a crackling fire complimented with fine cuisine prepared by our chef creates the perfect setting for a relaxed evening at home. The kitchen is an amazing surprise, fully equipped with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and washing machine, it is one of the most pleasant areas of the house. Every bedroom promises breathtaking views and a great night’s sleep on our goose down bed comforters.
This ground floor property offers four suites named, Alentejo suite, and Arabe suite both with double king size beds, private bath and Western views. Rose and brownie suite, both with two queen beds and private bath.

 

The house has a large swimming pool with lounge chairs and other outdoor areas on the garden side of the villa. There is the large stone terrace immediately outside the house with two shaded outdoor eating areas.

 

The pool house has an indoor toilet, shower and sink

 

Manager will be on the property during all house rentals.
