Quinta dos 3 Caminhos is a wine, mountain and beaches lovers dream come true! Ten kilometers from the wines cellars of José Maria da Fonseca and twenty kilometers from “Portinho da Arrábida”, it is an ideal base for exploring one of the most beautiful coast of Portugal where the wines are second to none. Quinta 3 Caminhos is located in the heart of the mountain facing south.This beautiful home has three bedrooms and sleeps six (+ 4/6) guests. A mansard is available for four additional guest (only children). The villa is facing the north hillside of  Serra da Arrábida, near the town of Azeitão.

 This property was renovated a few years ago and transformed perfectly with fine taste, immense charm, and care for detail. It is situated in one of the most beautiful places on this coast. The Villa is doubtless one of the most pictoresque and most charming homes on the area. Its unique position,with the unbelievable varanda looking over the  breathtaking view of Serra da Arrábida from east to west, make it an unique place to stay .
The villa offers a place to relax and is surrounded by  rich Mediterranean vegetation, flowers, and fruit trees.
The villa also enjoys a swimming pool that is completely private and features comfortable  deck chairs for sunbathing, or you may wish to go to the closest beach: Arrabida coast 20 Km, a 10 min drive.
Close to the main house in the garden, an extra bedroom, separate bathroom, is available and most suitable for teenagers or staff.
 From the entrance you go into the living room that has a fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and a couch-seating area for socializing or relaxing. The dining room offers a table with 8 chairs that is located in front of a window which looks over a magnificent view and leads to the veranda in the outside area. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave. Directly off of the kitchen is another outside dining area with a stone table that offers fresh meals in hot summer days.
 On the ground floor you have three bedrooms and two complete wc. The first bedroom has a double bed and an en suite bathroom with bath tub. The second and third bedrooms have two twin beds each and share a bathroom located outside the rooms.  From the bedrooms entrance area there is a stairway that leads to the mansard on the first floor where there are three beds, ideal for children or teenager. Outside the main house there is a separate fourth bedroom with one bunk bed (suitable for children) and a bathroom with shower. Outside is a spacious garden area with a pool, and a separate zone for children to play soccer. A covered terrace with dining table and chairs and comfortable lounge chairs, make this part of the house the best one to relax in summer days or nights.

COAST/BEACH - Near on Arrabida coast there is the famous Portinho da Arrábida, a large cove type beach facing south and protected from the north winds by a 300 metres high slope. Half way up this slope set in the deserted natural greenery is a solitary 16th Century Franciscan Monastery enjoying what must be one of the most beautifully restful views in Europe.

TRAVEL -In the area of Azeitão the use of car is essential .Outside of the towns  there is limited means of transport available. Taxis are the main source of travelling from one location to another. In urban areas they charge according to the taximeter. Outside these areas the charge is per kilometre and this includes the cost of the drivers return trip. All taxis drivers have in their possession their printed rates in two languages. From Lisbon airport to Azeitão you take 30 minutes drive.
 
DISTANCES - Lisbon is an easy drive (40 km), the beaches of the Troia peninsula are nearby( you drive 10 km to Setubal and you take a ferry boat), and the local “Jose Maria da Fonseca” wine cellars are well worth a peek. The cove of Portinho da Arrabida with enchanted views and wonderful beaches is 10 minutes drive (12 km).

FURTHER INFORMATIONS - In Azeitão are the Quinta da Bacalhoa and the Quinta das Torres, both from the 16th Century and both full of charm and history. The first is famous for its wine and the second for its hospitality and for his restaurant. Notably in the same area are the famous Wine Cellars of José Maria de Fonseca where wine proofs are recommended.
